Newcastle will offer a revised offer for Watford forward Joao Pedro after his initial offer was rejected.
According to the Daily Mail, Newcastle United will revise a new offer for Watford in the bid for Brazilian forward Joao Pedro. Previously rejected an offer of 20 million pounds. Reports indicate that Watford do not want to sell Pedro this summer after the transfer of Nigerian forward Emmanuel Dennis to Nottingham Forest. Likely to lose Ismaila Sarr on the other side of Crystal Palace.
However, Watford have priced Pedro at around £35m, much higher than Newcastle’s offer. But the Magpies are still believe to be able to negotiate a price. Pedro, 20, join from Brazilian ufabet club Fluminense in early 2020 and has a three-year contract at Vicarage Road.
The 20-year-old has played 78 games for Watford after signing from Fluminese in 2019 and has scored 14 goals. He has started all their games in the Championship so far this season, scoring the only goal in Watford’s win against Sheffield United in their opening game.
Another Premier League club still looking to bolster their squad are Crystal Palace, and they are interest in pursuing another Watford player, the forward Ismaïla Sarr. Leeds are also interest in the 24-year-old Senegal international. Who scored a brilliant goal from his own half in Watford’s draw at West Brom earlier this month.
